Revision July 2026

Terms of sale

Revision July 2026. These terms govern all contractual relations between the Practice and the Client.

Article 1 — General provisions and scope

The France Études Practice is an organisation specialised in advice, academic guidance, support with admission procedures (public schools, private institutions, scholarships) and preparation for international mobility visa applications.

Head office: Bordeaux, France. Agencies: Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo.

Any order or signature of a support contract implies the Client's full, prior and unconditional acceptance of these terms of sale.

Article 2 — Nature of the services

The Practice offers support modules that may include: academic guidance and programme choice; preparation and optimisation of application files (Campus France, private and public institutions); support with excellence scholarship procedures; preparation for academic and consular interviews; help preparing the visa file (Irrevocable Transfer Certificate / AVI, Housing Certificate / ADL).

The Practice undertakes to bring all the care, seriousness, rigour and professional expertise required to perform the agreed services.

The Practice is expressly bound by a duty of care and in no case by a duty to achieve a result. Final decisions on admission, scholarships and visa issuance are the sole and sovereign responsibility of the institutions, selection boards and consular authorities. The Practice's liability cannot be engaged in the event of refusal of admission or refusal of a visa.

Article 3 — Client obligations

The Client undertakes to provide civil status documents, diplomas, transcripts and financial proof that are strictly authentic, truthful, legible and compliant. Any forgery or use of false documents immediately ends the service, with no refund and subject to criminal prosecution.

The Client undertakes to submit all required documents within the deadlines set by the Practice, and to attend the scheduled guidance sessions, mock interviews and briefings.

Article 4 — Fees and payment

Prices are firm and stated upon signature of the individual contract or quote. They are denominated in Euros for services subscribed in France, and in CFA francs in Congo-Brazzaville.

Unless otherwise agreed, payments follow the schedule set out in the support contract: deposit upon signature, intermediate payments upon filing, and balance before the consular phase.

Any late payment entitles the Practice to suspend ongoing services until the debt is fully settled, without any compensation for the Client.

Article 5 — No-refund policy and termination

From the signature of the contract and/or the first payment, the Practice immediately commits human, technical and logistical resources. All sums received (file fees, deposits, fees) are definitively acquired by the Practice and will not be refunded.

No refund or price reduction request will be admissible in the following cases: withdrawal or abandonment of the study project; refusal of admission; non-selection or failure in scholarship examinations; refusal of a visa; failure by the Client to meet filing deadlines.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal

In France, under the French Consumer Code, consumer Clients have 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance. However, if the Client expressly requests the beginning of service delivery before the end of the period, they expressly waive their right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed.

In Congo, local regulations on the sale of services apply. Performance begins immediately upon signature of the support contract.

Article 7 — Personal data and confidentiality

The Practice and the Client mutually undertake to maintain the strictest confidentiality over the information, documents and exchanges in the performance of the contract.

Personal data is processed in compliance with applicable legislation: GDPR and the French Data Protection Act in France and the European Union; the law on the protection of personal data in Congo.

The Client has the right to access, rectify, limit and delete their personal data upon simple written request to the Executive Secretariat.

Article 8 — Force majeure

The Practice cannot be held liable for non-performance or delay in performing its obligations if this results from a force majeure event as defined by the case law of the courts of the country concerned: wars, riots, epidemics, border closures, sudden changes in immigration policies or visa criteria, national outages of telecommunications networks or state platforms.

Article 9 — Disputes and competent jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation, validity or performance of these terms, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution first by referring the matter to the Executive Secretariat.

Absent an amicable agreement within thirty days, the competent court is determined by the agency where the contract was signed: contract signed in Bordeaux — French law, courts of Bordeaux; contract signed in Brazzaville or Pointe-Noire — Congolese law, courts of Brazzaville or Pointe-Noire.

This document incorporates the no-refund policy, the nature of the duty of care, and the multi-jurisdiction harmonisation (France and Congo-Brazzaville).
